Once a woman was standing in the balcony
of her house. She was holding her baby in her arms.
As she was looking below, the baby slipped out of her hands. Down below
there was a heavy traffic on the road. Buses, trucks, cars and scooters were
passing by. The mother ran down for help. She cried but could not find her baby
anywhere.
People on the road wondered, “Where did the baby go?” They asked her to
report to the police.
A truck carrying cushions and pillows stopped near a shop. A baby’s cry
came from the back of the truck. The baby was lying on the topmost cushion,
sucking its thumb.
“Look, a baby here!,” shouted the truck driver. “How did he get in?”.
everyone wondered. Soon the baby was handed over to the police. The police took
the baby to its mother. The mother was over joyed and she thanked the police.
Who saved the baby’s life, the truck driver or the police? Surely, it
was the unseen hand of God.
We should always have faith in God and His goodness.
